Working with you - Communities and events
Wide Eyed Theatre can provide storytelling as an exciting addition to any event.
Storytelling is versatile and can happen anywhere there are people to listen. Our performance work has included theatres, festivals, street performance, arts centres and cafes. Our performances can be commissioned and can range from basic intimate performance to full-scale productions.
We can support many national festivals and initiatives such as National storytelling week and National reading week. As well as education initiatives: Every Child Matters, Social and Emotional Aspects of Learning (SEAL) and Find Your Talent
and other festivals or celebrations such as Local festivals and fetes and events, Seasonal holidays such as Halloween or Christmas.
Wide Eyed Theatre have experience in working in different community settings and our work is very much focused on strengthening what it is to be part of a community. Stories provide a common shared experience that enhances and celebrates what it means to be part of a group whilst building communication skills. Our work has included projects for schools, youth centres, children's & community centres and local councils.
